Rules & Regulations

The first post I want to make is regarding Shucked Rules & Regulations. The character limit the game offers in the clan description is quite limiting so I will use this page to elaborate.

1) No Swearing!

I understand that not everyone has the same moral values that I do. However, this is my clan and I don't appreciate the use of bad language in the chat area. I find it distasteful and incredibly annoying.

Anyone caught swearing will be given a warning, followed by expulsion if it continues on a regular basis.

2) English is Encouraged.

I also understand that Clash of Clans is a worldwide game and that there are many different languages associated with all the different countries that play. There are several different nationalities in the Shucked Clan alone but it is highly encouraged for everyone to speak English. This is simply to unify the clan. If you can speak English please do so, that way all other clan members can be involved in the conversation too.

3) Minimum Unit Donation.

If someone requests Clan Castle troops but does not specify which troop he/she wants, the minimum troop donation should always be Archers. Archers are good defenders as well as attackers and make for good troops to have in the castle. Please don't donate Giants or Barbarians unless requested, as they can't defend against flying units. And never, I repeat never, donate Wall Breakers unless specifically requested for.

Note: If you request very specific units it may be a while before you receive something. Not everyone is willing to compromise their army compositions just to keep certain troops available for specific requests. Either ask for a few different kinds of troops that fit your attack strategy or make the specific troop yourself. Or if you're fine with waiting, feel free to do so.

4) Clan Wars Participation.

Now that true Clan Wars are upon us the dynamic of a clan has been completely shaken. Member participation is key to winning a war. Each member must attack a minimum of 2 times within the span of 2 wars. Lack of participation is cause for immediate expulsion. This is nothing personal, each attack not used against the other clan is a potential 3 stars against us. Member activity is more important now than it has ever been.

5) 100 Donations per Season.

A season is 2 weeks. You can go to the Top Clans tab in the game to find out how much of this time is left before all donations and leagues are reset. I will check your donations at the end of each season.

Those that have not met the minimum donations will be kicked out of the clan. No exceptions.
Note: Any demotions will happen at this time as well.

This is not a very stringent requirement. 100 donations in two weeks means 10 donations a day for 10 of the 14 days. That gives you four days off. 10 donations can also be done in one sitting. A donation of Archers to two requests would fulfill your daily quota.

6) Watch Your Donation Ratio.

A 1:4 donation ratio is required as of March 2014. What does this mean? It means that for every one troop you donate if you have received more than four you will no longer be allowed to stay in the Shucked clan.
ie) If you donate 100 troops if you receive 400+ in return you will be kicked.

Why the ratio minimum? It's best to try and keep your requests and donations equal. The more each member donates the better it makes our clan. If the majority of the clan is receiving and only a few donating well it hurts clan moral and can even lead to quick turnover because too many requests may end up unfilled at long intervals.

7) Elder is Earned.

Elders are full fledged members of the clan. Their powers are limited to inviting new members and kicking regular non-ranked members, though doing so without an explanation could result in demotion or possible expulsion.

To earn rank as an elder one must continually donate 200 troops per season. Failure to do so will result in demotion to regular member status.

8) Co-leader is Reserved.

Co-leaders have all the privileges of the clan leader, except for the ability to demote or kick other Co-leaders. I reserve the right to promote and demote whoever I believe deserves, or does not deserve, co-leadership.

These are the officers of the clan. They patrol the clan when I, the leader, am not there. A Co-leader must be someone with high standards. A Co-leader must maintain donations of at least 500 troops a season. They must also maintain a 1:1 ratio of troop donations. These are minimum requirements. To guarantee long lasting co-leadership one must continue to exceed these expectations.

Any Co-Leader caught kicking others without cause will be immediately demoted.
